The part of Theo is being played by a great young actor named Terrell Ransom Jr. He made his first appearance on Day May 20, 2008. He has a recurring role. He is only 5 years old however everyone says he is a joy to work with and I’m sure that Days will do a nice job with the autism storyline.

I saw your blog and had to stop in. Abe was definitely a good character to root for, he’s always been a good guy trying to do the right thing. I think he’s gonna have a hard time coping with an autistic son (the character that is) but I think JR will do a great job in the storyline.

You gotta love Abe! If he can get through having a kid with autism, so can we. Besides, he’s been cheated on by his wife, shot at, gone blind, had mysterious diseases, probably lost his mind as some point, dealt with the DiMera family, and he still looks just like he did 20 years ago. I’m pretty sure Marlena will have some world of psychological wisdom to share with the Carver’s, too. That should be fun to watch. It’s been many years since I’ve watched Days, but they’re probably on the same story lines or recycled ones so it won’t be hard to catch up. Let’s hope they handle this one with grace.
